REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION

Requests for information should be directed to the Media Relations Department.

MEDIA CREDENTIALS

Media passes for the season are available to accredited members of the news media. To request a media pass, complete a media accreditation form by calling our offices at 416-251-4625 ext.23 or e-mail us at lynx@lynxsoccer.com. Your media pass will be prepared and available for pick-up at our annual Toronto Lynx Media Conference scheduled for May 9, 2007 at the Travelodge Airport (Dixon Road) beginning at 11am. We will also make them available at our Home Opener at the Will Call/Reservation Booth.

Members of the Media who require a one-game media pass may contact the Media Relations Department no later than 24 hours prior to the game to allow time for processing. Press box accommodation is filled on a first come first served basis in terms of the space available. Game day passes will be available at the Reservations/Will Call booth. For media representatives arriving on game day without a pass, you will be required to present appropriate I.D. and complete the media accreditation form provided by the Ticket Manager.

PLEASE NOTE: All Media credentials are the property of the Toronto Lynx and are issued for the sole purpose of providing stadium access to an accredited individual who is performing a legitimate media function. The Toronto Lynx reserves the right to revoke a Media Pass at any time for abuse of accreditation privileges.

MEDIA ENTRANCE TO STADIUM

There is no specific Media Pass Gate at Centennial Park Stadium. Media members are instructed to use the South Grandstand Gate to gain access. Your media pass must be presented to the ticket taker to gain entry.

The stadium is located north of Rathburn Road and west of Highway427.

MEDIA PARKING

Free parking is provided at Centennial Park Stadium on a limited first-come first-served basis.

TV LIVE SHOTS

All requests for pre-game television shots should be coordinated through the Media Department. If player/coach interviews are required before kickoff, requests should be made at least 24 hours prior to kickoff so that arrangements can be made for the required individuals to be made available.

PRESS BOX

To reach the Press Box, enter through the Centennial Park Stadium Pass Gate and proceed to the upper level. Only Media, stadium officials and game day staff have access to the Press Box. Abuse of accreditation to gain access to the Press Box will lead to cancellation of the credentials.

Game notes and media information are available in the Press Box and an unofficial score sheet will be available at half-time for the purpose of providing game statistics.

There are a limited number of telephone lines and power outlets for communication and use of computers to transmit news to media outlets. Should a dedicated phone line be required during games, members of the media should contact the Toronto Lynx office to make special arrangements.

TELEVISION CAMERAS

Television camera locations are available in the Press Box. Priority is given to the Toronto Lynx game staff videotaping the game as per team and league regulations. Please be courteous of the Lynx videographer and other broadcast teams sharing the various locations.

The preferred locations for all cameras being used at ground level are in each endzone and on the east side. Cameras are allowed on the west side for intermittent shooting only, provided the team bench locations and game officials bench are not interfered with.

Our Team and Game Day Operations Director will assist with camera locations during busy games.

DRESSING ROOMS

Only accredited media will be allowed in the dressing rooms. These rooms are closed to the media two hours before kickoff time and for ten minutes following the final whistle. Your co-operation in maintaining a working atmosphere in the dressing rooms is appreciated. No still photography is allowed in the dressing rooms.

TRAINING SESSIONS

Pre-season and regular season training sessions are open to the Media and a training schedule is available and included in your pre-season media kit.  Please contact the Team and Game Day Operations for confirmation of dates and times.  Practice sessions usually run between ninety minutes and two hours.

Members of the Media are encouraged to interview players and coaching staff at the end of training sessions.

SPECIAL MEDIA EVENTS

The Toronto Lynx appreciate the support of the Media in covering professional soccer in our city. The Club holds special Media events annually so that all members may forge a stronger relationship with our club. The Toronto Lynx Pre-season Media Conference is scheduled for Wednesday May 9, 2007 at the Travelodge Airport (Dixon Road) beginning at 11 am in conjunction with a Meet the Players Luncheon.

The annual Media Day for the Toronto Lynx and Lady Lynx at Centennial Park is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 16 at 4:00 PM, where Media may interact with our players and scrimmage with the squad following their practice.

At the end of the season, Media members will be invited to vote on the Most Valuable Player on line and at the stadium. This special award will be presented at our End of Season Awards Celebrations at the last regular season home game.

IMPORTANT LOCATIONS

Pre-season training locations will be documented in the training schedule provided to all media members.

During the season, training and practice sessions for the Toronto Lynx and Lady Lynx will be held at Centennial Park. Media is advised to confirm times and locations with the Lynx office or Centennial Park Stadium prior to each session.
